Post Alarm was founded in 1956 by Sam Post after his retirement as a police chief. Sixty-eight years and three generations later, the company is owned and operated by his grandchildren, Robert Post and Gina Post-Franco. Today, it is one of the largest security companies in Southern California, with over 125 team members. The Post Family has lived in and been part of the San Pedro community for over 25 years. Post Alarm offers alarm and video monitoring, Armed Alarm Response, and Patrol, among many other services.
