Matt Bishop

Lead Technician

Matt joined us in 2000.  Since then, he became the father of three, which furthered his appreciation for the importance of security. He describes himself as a “techie”, so he truly enjoys the design and installation of custom security systems to meet clients’ personal needs. He also enjoys working with clients to ensure thorough understanding of their systems. Matt takes great pride in his workmanship, and believes it shows in his work. Clients agree!

Assistant Technician

Alex joined our team in 2014 with experience in the alarm industry, as well as excellent carpentry skills he has put to use making improvements at our office.  Alex loves working as a team with our Peninsula family creating custom security systems and meeting new people on the job. Alex values positivity, which is evident in his upbeat nature, and “doing a complete, solid and honest job” for our clients.

Assistant Technician

David was hired in 2016, making him the newest member of our family.  After high school graduation, David worked as a solar panel maintenance technician before joining us.  Always pleasant and motivated, David enjoys “making people happy and secure.”

Deanna joined our team in 2014 with 24 years of experience in customer service.  She enjoys the relational nature of business at Peninsula, where clients are valued, and she strives to nurture those relationships.  She is one of the friendly voices you will hear when calling our office. She makes a point of learning new things everyday to enhance clients’ experience and peace of mind. Janelle Daywalt

Client Care

Janelle joined us in 2014 after 29 years in the auto industry, including managing the service department for a busy dealership.  She wears many hats at Peninsula, and her mechanical experience helps her to diagnose problems for our clients.  As one of the friendly voices you will hear when calling our office, she enjoys helping our clients with any and all issues or concerns. Janelle loves providing support so that clients use their systems “consistently to protect themselves and their families.”

Mark Rosenfeld

Founder and President

Mark is a lifelong South Bay resident. He founded Peninsula Security in 1984 after 6 years of experience in the alarm industry, including  Westec Residential Security.  The business steadily grew as word spread of his integrity and passion for providing products and service of the highest quality. He remains involved in the everyday aspects of the business overseeing field operations and client care. He has deep appreciation for clients’ trust, a passion for providing the finest custom systems, and tremendous pride in his knowledgeable, dedicated staff.  Mark highly values “doing things the old-fashioned way, yet keeping up to date technologically.”
